The KM3NeT collaboration is building two neutrino detectors in the Mediterranean Sea. The primary goals are to determine the neutrino mass ordering as well as the detection of cosmic neutrino sources. In this presentation I will describe the scientific motivations, the detectors and report on their current status.
Motivated initially to solve the Strong CP problem, the axions are strong candidates of cold dark matter. If the axions are generated after cosmic Inflation, they are likely to have a mass around 100 µeV, beyond the reach of the conventional cavity-based experiments. I will describe how GWs alter the dynamics of cavities, focusing on EM SRF cavities. I will mostly describe the way in which the passage of GWs generates mode mixing by either their effect on the EM field or by interacting with the boundaries of the cavity. For completeness, I'll also mention the way GWs interact with systems of spin. I shall finish with rough estimates of some current detectors
