Directions to Naples:

To reach Naples you can fly directly into Napoli-Capodichino International Airport (NAP). Alternatively you can fly to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) or Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA). 


​​From NAP you can take the Alibus bus which connects to Naples main train station Napoli Centrale in about 15 minutes. The cost of the ticket is 5 euros. You can find the timetable of Alibus here:


From FCO you can take the Trenitalia Leonardo Express train to Rome main train station Roma Termini (the ride takes 32 minutes, the one-way ticket costs 14 euros). For timetables see:


From CIA there are several shuttle buses to Roma Termini train station see e.g.


From Roma Termini train station there are various types of train connections to Naples main train station Napoli Centrale. High speed trains can take you there in about one hour (prices vary depending on how in advance tickets are purchased, the maximum fare is around 50 euros), Inter-City trains take about two hours (the cost is around 30 euros) while local trains (Regionali) will bring you to Naples in about three hours and cost 13 euros.
