Scientific Programme

The astroHEP complementary plans fund research oriented towards the development of cutting-edte scientific instrumentation to ensure the progress on the acquisition of frontier knowledge. In many cases this instrumentation will be applied in large international projects.
36 spanish scientific institutions are involved in this project from 6 different CCAA.

In this meeting the status and prospects of the different research lines will be reviewed.

  • LIA1: Future experiments in Particle and Nuclear Physics.

  • LIA2: Development of cutting-edge astrophysical instrumentation for ICTS, ESFRI projects in astronomy, and space missions.

  • LIA3: Gravitational wave experiments and multi-messenger astronomy.

  • LIA4: Large astronomical surveys.

  • LIA5: Direct searches for dark matter.

  • LIA6: Neutrino physics.

  • LIA7: Space exploration with small satellites.

  • LIA8: Computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.
