Participants presenting a poster contribution should bring their poster printed ready for display. In addition, they are kindly requested to provide:
- An electronic copy of their poster in .pdf format;
- A close-up picture of the presenter to be used for the poster display;
- (optional) a short video lasting approximately one minute describing the content of the poster (in mp4 format, preferably with a portrait orientation).
All files should be uploaded on indico by Tuesday, May 26th. (Log in and follow the “My Contributions” link on the main page to get to the area for the presentation material specific to each contribution). We kindly ask all the presenters to make sure the file names start with “poster-”, “picture-”, and “video-”, respectively.
Posters will be displayed throughout the conference on panels installed at the conference venue. Dedicated poster sessions will also be scheduled. Therefore, each presenter must bring their own printed poster in A0 size (841 mm × 1189 mm) and vertical orientation.
IMPORTANT: The organization will not be able to print any posters during the conference under any circumstances.
Each poster panel will already include a banner displaying the poster title, the author’s contact details (including the close-up picture), and a QR code linking directly to the material uploaded to Indico. For this reason, the organization requests that all the information described above be submitted in advance.
At this IDM 2026, the poster session is sponsored by Universe (an open-access journal published by MDPI). Thanks to this sponsorship, three prizes will be awarded to the best poster contributions:
-
First Prize: 200 euros
-
Two Accesit Prizes: 100 euros
The selection process will be based on an evaluation by a scientific committee, potentially complemented by a popular vote from conference participants. Further details about the voting procedure will be communicated during the conference.
